The CinemAmbiente Film Festival was founded in Turin 1998 to showcase the best in international environmental documentaries and to promote environmental filmmaking in events throughout the year.
Founded and directed by Gaetano Capizzi, the Festival is organized by the Associazione CinemAmbiente in joint collaboration with the National Museum of Cinema. The Festival is part of the Green Film Network, an association that brings together major environmental film festivals from around the world.
