He is one of the founders of the “Ipotesi cinema” school. In the early 1980s he worked as scene designer before becoming cameraman. He worked with Ermanno Olmi and on documentaries for the BBC and RAI. Sculptor and painter by training, he has worked as set designer and scenographer. Following his appearance in Giorgio Diritti’s Il vento fa il suo giro, he has acted in numerous TV fiction series. Among his many artistic activities involving a pictorial/musical journey into the future, he has written his first novel, Baciami.1963. Il ritorno di Cristo (Thyrus, 2018), about love set in an epoch after the third world war.
