The raw material of "Vanishing Point" is formed by a real recording, in which center two red dressed figures fix the viewer motionless. Little by little the character of the landscape around them changes ... a derealisation takes place. It is a symbol for the increasing manipulation of nature through technology in which mankind is vanishing gradually.
