Ascanio Celestino, a stage actor, reads and plays a letter written in 1974 by Fausto, worker in a big factory, to his mother. It speaks about Marisa, an old working woman close to retire who spent all her life repeating non-stop the same job and the same gesture, a drudgery which has spoiled for ever the beautiful hands she loved so much....
But nowadays, at the beginning of a new century, is the working environment still the same as once? Other, younger, Fiat Mirafiori working women give their answers.
