At the end of a hard day's work on the Argentinean pampas, a gaucho and his wife relax under the portico of their home, playing the guitar and drinking mate, when suddenly the ground begins to tremble, frightening the animals and rocking objects. What they first think to be the devil's handiwork turns out to be far from supernatural.
