Fukushima: les voix silencieuses

Fukushima: the silent Voices

The radioactivity around Fukushima is gradually fading from the local residents' memory. Six years after the nuclear disaster, a young Japanese filmmaker returns to her hometown to talk with her family, who lives only 60 km away from the so-called "Voluntary Evacuation Zone", about the catastrophe that has become a taboo.Interrogations, doubts, fears, and feelings of sadness, never before frankly discussed, open a family debate that goes on to involve the people who live in one of the earth's most radioactive places. Apocalyptic images give way to genuine, human stories. At the end of the screening, meeting with the authors
