Matthew Lancit is an award winning film director. His work has been chosen for preservation by the Library and Archives of Canada and has screened around the world at the Musée Dapper in Paris, Anthology Film Archives and UnionDocs in New York, UCLA art department, Filmhouse Cinema in Edinburgh, the Jerusalem Cinematheque, the Kaohsiung Film Archive in Taiwan, and at over 50 international film festivals. Lancit can currently be found in Paris, where he is at work on a new feature-length documentary for which he has received funding from the Canada Council of the Arts.
