Diego Cenetiempo, debuted as screenwriter before directing shorts and documentaries. Titles to his credit include Far away is Home. La storia di Clely (2012), Maksimovič. La storia di Bruno Pontecorvo (2015), Io e me stesso (2016) and Binari (2018), which ran in the 21st CinemAmbiente competition. Since 2006 he is member of the Centro Ricerche e Sperimentazioni Cinematografiche e Audiovisive La Cappella Underground; in 2008 he founded the Pilgrim Film production company
