Das Kämpfer-Gen

The Agression Gene

The Aggression Gene Cage fighting is one of the most extreme forms of martial arts in the world. Its sheer brutality and lawlessness are attributed to this upcoming sport and have caused it to be prohibited in some countries. The Austrian molecular biologist Fritz Treiber studies the correlation between aggressive behavior of these fighters and the appearance of a special variation of the gene MAOA. The film crew follows this scientist behind the scenes of cage fighting. Introducing us to fighters like the family man Harry "The Tank" Fischer, the Czech migrant Valid Abdurachmaninov, the heart-breaker Sascha "Destroyer" Weinpolter and the martial art promoting Ettl Brothers while they are preparing for Cage Fight Series 5. Rigor and affection are very closely tied together but what happened to aggression?
