Burkina Faso: protezione dell'ambiente e riciclo

Protecting the environment and Profiting from garbage in burkina Faso
by Damien Riunaud Documentary Svizzera 2006 7'

Part of an International Labour Office (ILO) and Lay Volunteers International Association (LVIA), Piemonte, a non-governmental organization (NGO), project, the film illustrates how Burkina Faso's first plastic recycling centre is paving the way for a new kind of development project that provides a money earner to the poor of Ouagadougou, while tackling a major environmental pollution problem affecting many African cities. Even local industry benefits: the recycled plastic granules cost half the price of new plastic imported from abroad.
