Noravanq gorge has been of historical importance in Armenia. There were gardens there in Middle Ages and Noravanq congregation was using them. Gnishik River was running through that gorge and due to that river there was a very rich fauna and flora there. But 1990's the river was transferred to Rind village via tubes and the gorge deprives of water. Now it's turned into a small rill. One of the most beautiful parts of Vayots Gorge is now dry and deserted. The film also tells about river Eghegis. Hydro-electric stations are built across it. If we don't preserve this river Eghegis gorge will also become dry like Noravanq gorge damaging its flora and fauna. Noravanq gorge should serve as a sobering example for Eghegis.
