Discours d'eau

Water Discourses

What do the world's richest man, a Mexican farmwoman, a Canadian rights activist and an employee of a French multinational have in common? Nothing at first glance, but unexpected connections among them emerge when faced with a fundamental problem of social, economic and political importance such as that of water management in a country like Mexico. Through ten different stories, the film recounts the events behind the 4th Water Forum (Mexico City, 2006) and raises questions about the contending interests between profit-thirsty big business and populations without a drop of water.<%YOUTUBE=yrL72KMbqMs%>
