The 3D computer graphic version of one of the most popular fables from southern Italy, dating back to the 12th century. A fisherman's son, nicknamed Colapesce because of his extraordinary swimming and diving abilities, discovers during one of his immersions that Sicily rests on three columns, one of which is cracked. Somewhat like the giant Titan Atlas in Greek mythology, Colapesce sacrifices his own life to hold Sicily up.
The film is programmed in collaboration with the Center for Experimental Cinema, National School of Cinema, Piedmont Campus, Department of Animation.
