Journalist and writer of American origin but grew up in Turin, she first worked as arts & entertainment newscaster for Mediaset. On becoming a mother and recognizing the contradictions of modern society, she wondered what type of world she would leave her children. She turned her life around and wrote her first book entitled Tentativi di Eco Condotta, which leveraged the rubric Occhio allo Spreco on the Striscia la notizia show. Other titles to her credit include Tondo Come il Mondo and Manuale per bambini amici della Terra, co-authored with Piero Corva. The book invites young readers to contribute to the well-being of the environment and underlines the importance of natural resources for our survival and the best ways to preserve them. Her new TV program, Occhio al Futuro, focuses on the relationship between ecology and technology.
