Director, screenwriter, and actor committed to environmental and social issues; started acting career in 1977 with the Teatro Proposta cooperative, Turin, then with the Teatro Stabile di Torino, Nuova Scena, Bologna, Teatro Stabile di Genova, and Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia theater companies; collaborated with nationally famous artists on international projects; currently developing with Legambiente an experimental theater project on environment and memory that explores specific environmental topics in order to raise awareness of the relevance of places, traditions, rituals, and the relationship between man and his local surroundings.
