Teaches at the SAA – School of Management, University of Turin, where he is the coordinator of a master’s program. He is a member of the executive board of Aiace, Turin, and selector for the Sottodiciotto Film Festival. He has written books on François Truffaut, Sam Peckinpah, Jim Jarmusch, Mohsen Makhmalbaf and Paolo Gobetti, and is the author of Gioventù catodica, Cinema e Rock e Orizzonti della Media Literacy. He also writes for two film reviews «Panoramiques» and «Cineforum».
