Film critic, she is editor for Il Manifesto, for which she edits the insert Alias. She also selects films for the Venice International Film Critics’ Week. Among the founders of the film club Il Politecnico, Rome, she has made for the Department of School and Education, RAI network, the 6-episode series Il bambino di celluloide. Together with Julian Bees and Fulvio Grubissich, she made the 10-episode series Gotan City, nuove mappe per l’Argentina. She has authored several books, Cecoslovacchia Polonia Ungheria immagini di una cinematografia, Kevin Costner, Otar Iosseliani, Lucian Pintilie, and with Francesca Romana Massaro she co-authored L’età d’oro. Il caso Véronique, on which Emanuela Piovano’s film was based.
