Paola Castillo VillagrÁ¡n, born in 1969, studied journalism at Pontificia Univer sidad CatÁ³lica de Chile,and went on to receive a diploma at the School of Cinema and TV of San Antonio de los BaÁ±os, in Cuba. She directed the television program Cine Video +Teatro, and has made several documentaries commissioned by Chilean TV, including CrÁ³nicas de la vida real and El Mirador. She has also directed two fiction shorts: The Dogs Are Hungry (1992), Looking For The Chinese (1998). She currently teaches at the Taller de Realization of the School of Cinema and TV at Arcis Univer sity, and is president of the Documentary Association of Chile (ADOC).
