Lives in Goiânia, Brazil. Studied Journalism, Radio and TV at university between 1983 and 1986, and attended the school of Communication and Art from 1992 to 1995, graduating with a Master degree in Cinema and Television and a PhD in Cinema and Journalism. He wrote the book entitled O autor na televisão, and now teaches Cinema at the Federal University of Goiânia. Since 2003 he has been a cinema critic and consultant for the International Festival of Environmental Cinema.
