Francesca Frigo graduated from La Sapienza University with a degree in theater arts and science; she continued her training under director of photography Francesco Ciccone on the set of film productions, shorts, and video clips. She has made documentaries and reportage for Rai 3, La 7, and MTV. Since 2012 she is a partner of BabyDoc Film through which she produces, makes, and films projects. Directorial titles to her credit include Sanperé – Venisse il fulmine! (2013), followed by La via del bosco (2020) presented at the 23rd CinemAmbiente.
