Bill Plympton (Portland 1946) studied at the School of Visual Arts, New
York, before working as an illustrator and cartoonist for The New York
Times, Vanity Fair and Rolling Stones and making his own animated short
films. The Tune (1992) was his first full-length film; J. Lyle (1994)
his first live action film. His works include: I Married a Strange
Person (1998), Mutant Aliens (2001) and Guard Dog (2004).
