Born in Brasil, Licinio Azevedo has lived in Mozambique since 1975. He has worked for the National Cinema Institute of Mozambique. He is a documentarist and co-founder of the Ebano Multimedia company. Among his films we may mention: Melancholic (1986), Marracuene (1990) and Hands of Clay (2003).
