Steven Sodebergh was
born in Atlanta in 1963. He has been working in the film industry in many
different roles: as a director, producer, screenwriter, editor, photography
director, and also actor. His films include Sex,
lies and videotapes (1989), Golden Palm at Cannes, which gave him fame; Out of Sight (1998) starring George
Clooney and Jennifer Lopez, and the recent Traffic.
