An expert in agro-environmental law, he has collaborated with various research institutes, including IDAIC, Cervi, INEA, CNR, ENEA, CREAA, and ISMEA. He writes for cinema news and information outlets and teaches theatrical law and legislation at the V. Bellini Conservatory, Palermo. He is the curator of Labor Story, a section focusing on work in the Green Movie Film Festival program, Rome, and the creator of the Green Movie Award. He is the column editor of Visioni of the monthly “La Nuova Ecologia”. He is currently enrolled in a doctorate program at the Department of the History of Art and Theater, University of Rome, on a project entitled “Idee, percorsi e prassi dell'Ecocinema".
