Milkena Kaneva (Rousse, Bulgaria) studied acting at the Sofia Theater and Film Academy. After coming to Italy in 1987, she began working as a journalist and producer, with reportage covering Eastern Europe, Africa and South American. In 2000 she debuted with the documentary, The Initiation.
