Persecuted for the past century, Palestinian Bedouins are seen as second class refugees while Palestinians rank first. Events in the Near East, Palestine and Israel make the news every day but far little is reported about the ancient population of the Palestinian nomads who, like others, have suffered under Israeli occupation. Peaceful, nomadic shepherds, Palestinian Bedouins are facing a serious threat to their existence. Caught between Israeli forces and the westernization of Palestinian society, they are treated with indifference and racist attitudes that separate nomads from settlers.
