Every year the world uses 58 billion plastic cups and 200 billion plastic bottles, besides producing tons of domestic garbage and toxic waste dumped in the environment. The beachfront of the ancient city of Sidon in Lebanon is the starting point for our tour, accompanied by Jeremy Irons, to explore the global problem of garbage, its devastating effect on the environment and imminent threat to the future of the planet.
