Rossano Ercolini is the coordinator of the Capannori (Lucca) Rifiuti zero study center, president of the Diritto al futuro association, and one of the founders of the Rifiuti zero national network. From 2009 to 2012 he was speaker for the Zero Waste International Alliance at international meetings; he is one of the coordinators of Zero Waste Italy and president of Zero Waste Europe. He received the Goldman Environmental Prize in 2013.
