Born 1962 in Denmark. Klaus Birch is one of the leading danish documentarists. In 2003 he won "Best Documentary" on TV-festival.dk for Children of Sorrow.Twice he has been nominated to the danish TV-Oscar (1999 and 2000), once to Prix Europa (1999), and once to the most prestigious danish journalistic award, "Cavling-prisen" (2000).
