Earned a degree from York University, Toronto, and made his diretorial debut with the short Canadian Fever (1992), followed by Playground (1994) and Lost in New York (1995). He then worked for the Canadian television networks CBC and CTV. Two more recent films, Garbage! The Revolution Starts at Home (2007) and Chemerical - Redefining Clean for a New Generation (2009), have been shown at numerous international festivals and competed at CinemAmbiente. He founded the production and distribution company Take Action Films. He teaches at OCAD University, Toronto.
