The country which has suffered most from radiations due to the explosion of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor is Bielorussia, on the borders of Ukraine. Absurd as it may seem, Bielorussia has no nuclear reactors of its own. Eighteen years after the tragedy, one of the worst contaminated regions, that of Gomel, is still trying to come to terms with life when faced daily with extremely high levels of radioactivity. Witnesses include the Head of Security of the danger zones and boys with behavioural problems at a residential centre.<%YOUTUBE=8Ye2cb9F6_o%>
