Mario, his son Alessandro, and Bruna live in the "deadly triangle", an area in the province of Naples between Acerra, Nola and Marigliano where the camorra manages the collection and disposal of industrial waste from northern Italian cities. Surrounded by toxic waste material, Mario and Alessandro have seen family members and most of their sheep flocks die, and Bruna has been diagnosed with endometriosis.
