In early 2019 world youth took to the streets to call attention to climate change. Also Swiss youth joined in demonstrations that challenged the global order and demanded a commitment to action. Their protest gathered momentum but came to a halt with the arrival of COVID-19. Taking his own children as example, Choffat follows the young activists from an introspective perspective that portrays their initial enthusiasm transformed into disillusion and difficulty in coping with the medical crisis. The film provides material for all generations to reflect on, as it explores our relationship with a world on the brink of collapse and urges us to seriously think about the future.
