This is an inquiry into the illegal traffic and disposal of toxic waste in Italy. The journalist follows the journey of a load of poisonous ashes coming from the high furnaces in the North-East. They are disguised by false documents and disposed over the fields where the milk buffalos are bred in the area around Caserta. During the inquiry several frightening ways of disposing of this kind of waste are unveiled: under the road paving, in the bricks used to build schools and even in bakers' ovens.
