Giorgio Beltrami is a vegan and runs a farm in Valcamonica according to traditional methods without mechanical equipment. The film follows the daily routine on a nearly self-sustaining homestead across the seasons. A radical decision he made 15 years ago, but rather than a retreat into isolation, it has provided him with a unique perspective on contemporary life and the choices it poses: vegetarian diet, healthy nutrition, respect for nature, and degrowth.
