Anima mundi

by Godfrey Reggio Experimental USA 1992 28'

A film about animals, without actors, plot or screenplay. As the title suggests, the film is composed of exquisite nature photographs taken with advanced technologies that illustrate that we are all part of the same world or emanations of the same creation principle. Made after the second part of the Qatsi trilogy, the film was commissioned by Bulgari, an Italian jewellery maker, for the Wwf biodiversity program. Though not directly linked to the series, the film employs the same formal technique and music by Philip Glass.<%YOUTUBE=HAf7ED6av0k%>
