During the flood the Po river offers a dramatic and evocative sight; the water invades the woods, the houses are encircled and it is only possible to get in by windows through ladders or wooden bridges. The furnishings and fornitures are piled up on the bank and persons cook outdoor. By now people are accustomed to this situation. But some men are worried: for them the flood is a real danger, as they has to defend the bridge from the logs carried by water and they do that on the river with little boats.
