The film starts with the scene of a smoking bonfire. A man is ploughing his land for spring, whilst the snow left melts away. Another man opens the windows of a dark house. The house he lived in as a child, now abandoned. Farmers blended in the background are ploughing. After sunset, once the darkness takes possession of the landscape and its life, that is when voices and recollections of the past crop up again. Dawn breaks and shines on a new day. That look behind the window is a flashback of a life lived between reality and dream.
