Salt

Sale

For the last 6 years, photographer Murray Fredericks has set up camp for 5 weeks alone at Eyre Lake. Located about 700 km north of Adelaide in southern Australia's remote outback and 15 m below sea level, the lake's drainage basin covers an area equal to that of Italy, France, and Germany combined, most of it bone dry. It is an immense salt mine. But it is also a place of spectacular uniqueness. A true landscape for the soul where Fredericks immerses himself, surrounded by vast emptiness, drawing inspiration for his photography.<%YOUTUBE=A37U2HfkPG8%>
