Acouphenes

Rumore bianco
by Francois-Xavier Drouet Fiction FRANCIA 2004 17'

When a child, the narrator asks his parents about the great big chimneys he can see along the motorway. Once he has grown up, he decides to investigate the matter himself. He therefore goes to Pierralatte, where the nuclear power station of Tricasin is situated, and rings up the people in charge to ask them about the risks. Part fable part nightmare, Acouphènes is a surreal report on an inquiry with apocalyptical overtones.
