A young chameleon with a passion for acting, Rango (voiced by Johnny Depp) finds himself suddenly stranded in the Mohave Desert. Dazed and thirsty, he wanders into Dirt, an Old West town populated by desert animals and plagued by drought, where he tells the townsfolk he is a tough drifter named Rango.
