Vendanges

Harvest
by Paul Lacoste 2014 82'

The south of France, mid September. A group of 20 persons of varied background (unemployed, pensioners, students, immigrants, itinerants) have come to help with the grape harvest. Ahead are four weeks of hard work, heat stroke, blisters, unions battles for a just day's wages, and hot-tempered arguments during which intense friendships will form as this utopian community evolves where men and women can temporarily forget their precarious existence.
