The musical group "Middle of the road" comes to Italy to compose and record the soundtrack of the film on the deÌbut of Fiat 127. In order to get the musicians acquainted with the 127, they are shown some footage of the new car, out of the assembly line and the testing drives. But we realize that Lorenzini often catches them with the same angle as Godard, when the French director shot the Rolling Stones recording "Sympathy for the Devil". So Lorenzini attests his interests on experimental cinema and a kind of "aesthetic of "˜68", already followed in Cronaca di un gruppo (1968).
