The fun begins on the outskirts of town, then moves towards the center, with new collection points opened in diff erent distr icts every two or three days, where residents pile up their unwanted belongings. While well-to-do downtown dwellers tend to be put off by the ubiquitous heaps of garbage, for other s that trash is a source of income. Indeed, trash speculator s don't view the refuse as garbage at all, but as some kind of "in-between" material whose pasts may be f orgotten, but whose futures can actually be lucrative .
