Concerned about the consequences of climate change and convinced that the solution is in the hands of future generations, Doris and Charles Michel, both pensioners, sell their house in Zurich and buy a boat. Their idea is straightforward: take five young Swiss people to the Arctic Circle to directly observe the effects of global warming, so that they can raise awareness among people their own age. The grand adventure begins: for 3 weeks the San Gottardo crew will navigate hostile yet spectacular waters. Armed with their camera equipment, the young explorers will document the state of health of the end of the Earth.
