The documentary tells about the foce reconstruction after the flood in 1952. At the beginning tere are images of the flood in Pontelagoscuro, near the Ferrara-Rovigo railway bridge. The violent power of water is docuemnted by showing the whirpools near the bridge piers. It is also documented the defence against the threat of new floods. The life starts again, people come back by train to the left land .Children play and go to school, people start again to work in fields.
