A young itinerant photographer asks Tibetan nomads to pose for the camera in front of different backdrops. A group photo of old women with children and animals against the backdrop of the Great Wall of China; a family portrait against the backdrop of a typical scene of city traffic. An unusual look at the people of a little known country though often mentioned in Western media.The film is programmed in collaboration with the National Center for Short Films.
