Khumba

by Anthony Silverston 2013 85'

The Kharoo Desert, South Africa. Among the newly born foals in the herd is Khumba, who differs from the others because only half of his body is striped. When a mysterious drought befalls the area, the superstitious herd members blame it on Khumba. Together with a gnu and an ostrich, he leaves the herd in search of the legendary magic fountain where the first zebras immersed themselves to receive their stripes. During the long journey ahead he will discover the world, make new friends, and face fatal dangers, like the fearsome tiger, Pahango.
