In May 2007, Greenburg, Kansas, U.S.A., was destroyed by one of the worst tornados in American history. The film (co-produced by Leonardo DiCaprio) recounts the city's reconstruction according to eco-sustainable criteria and how the population gained greater awareness of environmental issues. Focusing on the experience of local residents (over 1500 were forced to leave their homes), the film is a true chronicle, part technical, part emotional, of the reconstruction efforts.
