Groenlandia. Un destino di ghiaccio

Greenland. A destiny of ice
by Mario Nardin Documentary Italia 2000 18'

In spite of its name Greenland is one of the most desolate places in the world, with a surface covered by 86% with ice. Life in small villages is confronted with a grand but hostile nature, characterized by huge emptiness and solitude. The immense whiteness of the landscape and the attachment of people to a destiny that has little to offer turn one of the world's most inhospitable lands into a place of moving purity.
